    That was a load of rubbish even worse than the typical Michio Kaku drivel. What is negative matter? Where is he going to get it? Why does it stabilize a wormhole? Why does enormous energy burn a hole in the fabric of spacetime? How will he verify that the nanobots arrive in a parallel universe on the other side of the hole? All of these questions are never answered. So it might be terrific science fiction but the science is just terrible.

    I quite agree Ralph and Thomas, Today’s fore most physicists seem to forget that physics is supposed to be an experimental science where all theories and hypotheses must be subject to rigorous empirical investigation. That’s what I always hammer home to my students everyday in the classroom anyway.

    But, you have to admit that speculating about such Super-science technologies is loads of fun. Yet, I have to agree that these types of programs tend to distort the picture of what physics is for my students.
