When I was a teenager my imagination was captivated by the Mars stories of Edgar Rice Burroughs and his vision of its two moons hurtling through the skies of Barsoom (the name given to Mars by its native inhabitants). Soon humans will follow in the footsteps of John Carter to Mars and also one day stand on those very moons (Phobos and Deimos).
